Maya has earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from UBC in 2024; and has acquired certificates in Human Resources at BCIT, and Legal Administration at Capilano University.
Additionally, she was an avid member of several committees including president of the Capilano University International Business Association, as well as an OHS representative and union steward for the BCGEU.
Her willingness to learn lead her to seek roles as a legal assistant in a variety of practices, including Indigenous and Corporate law. She brings with her several essential skills such as an astute attention to detail, an instinct for technology, and proactive mindset.
In her spare time, Maya enjoys artistic endeavors such as painting, writing and drawing.
